House of the Dead VR sounds awesome! ...but arcade only? In this day and age?? I hope that's not the case! @sega-west.bsky.social @sega.jp You guys HAVE to bring this to Steam VR!! I will buy it! 😁

With Playstation ending physical media, and Xbox allegedly following suit, I currently have no desire to spend further money on the console market. I haven't decided to buy a Switch 2 yet, but at least they haven't taken physical off the table...yet. www.nintendolife.com/guides/every...

[Takes a moment to stop laughing] 🤣 Aah, I have never used any of that crap in my life! Are there really people THIS reliant on AI? AI isn't all that old yet. Surely these people got by before it existed, right? If it replaces your ability to function, that's another big argument against it.

I never played the Sly seies myself, but this is my meager, but mostly beloved, PS2 collection. Or at least the majority of it. I have Ace Combat 4 sitting around here somewhere, I just couldn't find it. 😑

AYN Thor preorder is in!...again! I've been lookng for a good way to play my 3DS on the big screen and...turns out using this expensive bit of tech to emulate it is actually the cheapest way. First-time game completion of 2026 #1! Diabolic (Nintendo Switch) I guess I haven't made much progress in games this year. It's April, and this is only the first game I've finished...and it's not a very long game. Took maybe 1.5 hours. It's a short ARPG. Not a lot to the game, but I didn't hate it!

Received my tax return and I'm thinking of dropping it on an AYN Thor handheld gaming console. Largely because it can emulate 3DS and Vita. I have a 3DS, and have been considering picking up a Vita, but this can emulate them easily and cast them to a TV or monitor. www.ayntec.com/products/ayn...

For #RandomGameSaturday I drew Furu Furu Park for Wii. If I'm honest, I've not yet played this one. Picked it up last year for $2. 😅 I'm told it's a collection of cute mini games featuring Taito IPs that can be played solo or multiplayer. Sounded right up my alley, and it was super inexpensive!

I bought a new wallet online and it came with a picture of a windmill and a rainbow. Pretty sure that means the US government will be coming after me. If I'm disappeared, please remember I was here, and that Gitaroo Man on PS2 is the best rhythm game ever. 😔

Post a fav game that got a 75 or less on Metacritic. Midway Arcade Treasures. I'm honestly surprised at this one. This is by far the best "free" game I ever got with Xbox Live Games with Gold! So many of my favorite old arcade games! Rampage, Joust, Spy Hunter, Sini-Star, and so on. 😄

So, I am hereby rescinding my previous praise for Door Dash. It is very mucj a ait-and-switch operation. 😔 They start out giving you good-paying orders to get you imvested, then they start piling on crap that's barely worth the gas money you'd use.

I was hoping to actually finish Divinity Original Sin by the end of this year and I made it with less than 2 hours to spare! 😅 Only 6 first-time completed games in 2025. It's been a lean year. Maybe I'll get some more games done in 2026.

Started Door Dashing this week as I once again find myself between regular jobs. Was a bit intimidated at first, but it's an amazingly relaxing and flexible job! Found this while clearing out some files from my phone! It's the ship I created a couple years back when I tried out Starfield. The Fiddler Crab! That game was ALL about ship building for me. I could get lost for hours just putting together new ship designs. 😅

I've mentioned before that Super Air Zonk: Rockabilly Paradise for the TurboGrafx 16 is the single most valuable game I own, and it's not even by a small margin. Things have been a bit precarious lately, however, and I'm thinking of selling it. Anyone know a good platform to do so that isn't ebay?😟

My Dreamcast VM2 arrived today! While messing around with it, I discovered that the Windows management software has a streaming function! You can effectively stream the VM2 screen to the app, then make the app a video source in OBS to include the VMU with game capture if you're a streamer!😄 Neat!!

Hum...I said before that I wouldn't do it because of all the games I have for it, but now I'm genuinely considering selling off my Xbox Series X. 😑 Everything I have on Xbox I can either play on my 360, or get on PS or PC Except Rare Replay, and honestly, I can emulate every single game in that.

000

PigeonFish @thepigeonfish.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

I enjoy a game with a good story, but games these days are all trying too hard to be the next big epic theatrical experience. Sometimes it's nice to just blow sh** up! 😁 Burnout Crash! was great for that! Sadly it's forever digitally locked to PS3 and XB360. It deserves a port to modern platforms!

This is my first time ever participating in this #randomgamesaturday thing but looks like I came up with Cratermaze for the TG-16. This was actually a reskin of a Doraemon game for western audiences that were not as familiar with the iconic earless cat.

Decided to do a 36 hour fast this weekend! I'm just hitting the 18 hour mark, and my body is REALLY ghrelin me to eat right now (s'a little hormonal humor 🤭). I did this fast last weekend too, and it went pretty well! Supposed to have great metabolic and detoxifying health benefits.
