This weekend we watched a 2 films which were both excellent. First we tried Coyote vs ACME. It’s a hilarious mix of sight gags and nostalgia, very topical and timely, and a surprising bit of heart. (I admit it, I cried.) Highly recommended! Reinventing older IP should be like this. (1/2) #movies

I’m outdoors in front of a red brick side of our house, smiling and flashing a peace sign while modeling my finished hand-knit Bibliophile 3 sweater by Alicia Plummer. The sweater is knit primarily in speckled grey madelinetosh Twist Light in Antique Moonstone, with three customized bright yellow stripes in madelinetosh Merino Light in Candlewick across the upper chest and sleeves. Although the pattern calls for DK-weight yarn, I used fingering-weight yarn held double. I also customized the sweater with twisted ribbing at the neckline, cuffs, and waist hem, including a narrow yellow accent at the bottom edge.

Concert week concludes… Show #3: Jungle How do you translate a vibe into a show? Jungle figured it out, and you felt that sense of a crowd that becomes one. Sound mixing could have been better, but this was one of my most listened bands of the past two years. #vibing

Concert week continues… Show #2: Melanie C I saw the Spice Girls once, but it’s amazing to see Mel in a more intimate venue - the iconic 9:30 Club. She was joy & clearly having a blast. She played my favorites, and even my all-time fave SG track! 🙌 And done at 9 pm? This daddy says THANK YOU 🙏

Concert week started for me tonight - 3 shows! Will I survive? Show #1: Robyn Mother knew her children needed to dance, to laugh, to cry. She gave it all to us, and more. It was divine and OH did the audience respond! Industrial pop mixed with sad love songs is such a vibe. So grateful. 🥹 #robyn

My pottery class series has come to a close. I learned so much, and also set myself a goal: make a yarn bowl that is fit for purpose. And I did it! I mean sure it feels like it weighs 5# but it stays put and does the job! The glazes here were Sea Mist followed by Mottled Blue. #pottery #handmade
