What a morning. They immediately put me on a (slightly later) flight to Dallas… we then had to wait on the runway for a SpaceX launch for 35 minutes… and then got rerouted to Oklahoma City to get around a storm. BUT I MADE IT. And so did my bag!!

I've been heated that bc I've been a customer with my ISP since 2013, I am "ineligible" for any of the affordable rates they advertise, as they're for new customers only. I have to remind myself that work gives me 50% of my bill each month as a stipend. And now the ISP covers my Prime. Worth it?

Sometimes, I see people's vlogs doing things like walking queues at Universal or just filming empty theme park sidewalks at open / close and miss that life so much. Not that I don't love my now-job, but there IS something so cool about telling people you run a rollercoaster for a living.

"Team building" is the reason they give for doing them, but yes, they are 100% a waste of time in this context. They give me panic attacks, straight up. Which is silly, considering I can stand in front of a classroom (in person and online) with no problem. Some stuff triggers it, some doesn't.

It's just such a disconnect to me. We, as teachers in a 100% virtual school district, are CONSTANTLY reminded that a lot of our students are with us because of severe and crippling social anxiety. How does admin fail to recognize that maybe some of the TEACHERS are there because of that, too??

There’s a phishing scam going around that targets Twitch creators. “Ooh, we messed up your payment, please log in with THIS LINK and gimme all your credentials.” • Automated emails will 99% be sent through “no-reply@twitch.tv” • Check for spelling and grammar errors. • If it’s Junk, it’s Junk!
