I am so glad the mute and block buttons exist for you here as well. Like they did over on the other place as well. I've been using the mute feature quite a bit recently to get away from the people whose whole personality is being annoying towards artists.

Yeah, but does that in any meaningful way change the flow of money into Rowlings coffers or the general popularity of HP? Not really. In general, HP is still widely beloved and Rowling will remain rich the rest of her life.

Artist sets their prices. If the prices work, great. If they dont, dang. It is REALLY weird to complain about commission prices, though, when that person is the one asking for a commission. Apparently. Probably not.

Those cases have very explicitly told you why they do it. They want to draw something fun and telling them not to makes any reasonable artist fairly miffed. You literally cannot apply any other reason for it in those cases. They just wanna draw what they wanna draw a given time.

Malfoy was 17-18 in the last book. Most NSFW art I see of Galfoy has HONKERS. Strawmen are easy to setup and attack, but it doesnt do anything.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but the franchise never suffered any actual backlash. It's a great lesson in echochambers; if you thought HP isn't still beloved in majority of the world, you've been in one and should probably look outside of it with some effort.
