I remember the police telling me “you’re traumatized now” and I’m not gonna go into anymore details but I… lost it. I left my job, I couldn’t walk through my apartment without hallucinations. I came home to my Christan’s tree with Nick’s present under it that I never got to give him.

My legs gave out immediately and it had been raining for days so I fell into a puddle and after idk how long I realized it was red so I crawled out of it and just… screamed fir him to come back. I called the police and my family. They were all there before the police :(

On Christmas Eve I felt a sudden wave of nausea and I left my dad’s house(my brother lived with my dad) On the way home I turned my car so fast and drove out into the desert for no reason and when I saw his car I didn’t stop to prepare myself whatsoever for anything….

He went missing the 21st of 2021, we reported him missing and the police said they’d keep an eye out but my family doesn’t roll like that. We all went searching all over town for days. I would wake up, leave, drive, look, come home, try to sleep, cry, wake up, leave, drive for days…

Probably tmi but I’m gonna rant a bit… trigger warning death… tomorrow is 3 years since my brother died (his death date is technically the 24th bc that’s when I found him so that’s on his death certificate) I’m just a mess today the grief is overwhelming today.
