I worded it poorly, it seemed like they changed the formula to the show after the first few seasons. Whoever made decisions on the show's direction seemed to push for more sensationalism and drama to increase viewership. It was successful, but I missed the 'spirit' of the first few seasons.

I watched the first couple seasons of Ghost Hunters. I remember really enjoying them debunking almost everything and sincerely helping people feel more comfortable and safer. I suppose that doesn't sell additional seasons though.

I first heard rawdogging as a nonsexual term early in the pandemic in my mental health circles. The joke was "I can't believe there are people out there rawdogging reality" to refer to how anyone could possibly be unmedicated while the world unraveled. This new iteration is sadder.

Our grocery bills have gotten grim, even with making a conscious effort to scale back on meat and luxuries. But I and most of the people I'm aware of make those meal planning decisions before stepping in the store.

In some select cases it could rise to attempted murder. Hiking isn't a common skill. Even someone who is fit and routinely walks or runs several miles a day might find themselves out of their depth very quickly. Knowing to bring calories and water isn't a given. Knowing the way back isn't a given.

In my experience yes. The kids on my suburban street walk to a bus stop, I grew up rural and did not. Idk, there are many factors in the US that effect(ed) our timing/bussing. Desegregation, rural farming scheds, parents need to work, older kids needing to work after school and yes, sports.
