Bothering people about noise at work for over 30 years now, it’s tragic really. Has far too many dogs (11), Honda NT1100 rider, F1 nut, and spends most of his time decomposing slowly towards the grave.

A common, and understandable, mistake with noise in the workplace is an employer getting the strongest hearing protection they can find as stronger must be better. The problem is, too strong tends to give less overall protection. For more info: www.thenoisechap.com/noise-safety...

Be careful waving the Fascist flag. By many policies the Fascists of 30s Germany were very socialist - controlled industry, rent controls, very left wing economic policies. Economically it was a left wing party, basically Greens but with a better dress code and a more developed dislike of foreigners

The Noise Chap (Adam) @thenoisechap.bsky.social · 13/02/2026
That is an entirely erroneous interpretation. The basis that one party is not as bad as the other lot is a very poor reason to vote for them. The main thing I know about the Greens from their messaging is that I should vote for them as they are not Reform. Tells me nothing about them.

The Noise Chap (Adam) @thenoisechap.bsky.social · 13/02/2026
I have no political affiliation at all and no dog in the race, but all I keep seeing from Zach & Co is 'look at Reform, they're terrible and Labour can't beat them. Vote for us to stop Reform'. A horribly negative approach.

The Noise Chap (Adam) @thenoisechap.bsky.social · 13/02/2026
Quick, vote for us as the other ones are worse. Not the most positive reason for voting. Policians never learn. Hilary Clinton went on and on about how bad Trump would be, and she lost. Remain went on and on about how bad Leave would be, and they lost. Give us positive reasons, not selling fear.
