If you're on a video call and you have a pet wander into view, it's mandatory to unblur the background and let everyone see them. I don't make the rules.

#Supergirl is a direct follow-up to a very well liked movie, features Krypto (who everyone loves), has Jason Momoa as Lobo (which fans said they always wanted) & stars an actress everyone agrees was a standout in HotD. The only reason there’s a hate campaign against it is because “Girl.”

I’m trying to grow a following on here so I can share my creative content and forward on important posts that magnify oppressed voices. If I find success, I’m sharing it, because that’s what my Mama taught me. ❤️ #payitforward #art #loveyouall

I've just submitted a book proposal and if it doesn't get picked up by this publisher (open calls) does anyone have any advice on where I can take it? Really passionate about the subject and would love some insight into this whole book writing... stuff 🤣 #gamesky #booksky #gaming #books #writing

Sending emails out to people you admire is terrifying and someone please tell me how I ended up in this area of work. Oh yeah, I love stories and nothing else. Other than cats. Cats are good.

Does anyone in the #film and/or #gaming industry know how I'd go about contacting writers, directors, PR people about possible interviews? Never done so before. Anything I should stay away from saying/make sure I say? #filmsky #gamesky

I'm a nobody freelance writer but I'd love the change to speak to @ariellawrence.bsky.social about God of War: Laufey. This is the game I've been waiting for! A short interview would make my year. #gamesky #GodofWar #PS5

It’s broken me, to be frank. This decision is slashing my income drastically, and has come at the worst time possible. My rent is doubling next month just when my income is being cut and become unstable. Trying to stay positive… but you know…

Each man thought: one of the others is bound to say something soon, some protest, and then I’ll murmur agreement, not actually say anything, I’m not as stupid as that, but definitely murmur very firmly, so that the others will be in no doubt that I thoroughly disapprove,

Some people need to realise that we're all critics of art. Some just have bigger platforms. Your opinion is valid but you don't "win" by siding with the biggest of the critics. You win by enjoying the art, even if what you enjoy isn't in line with someone else. #filmsky

This show feels more relevant than ever for all women. The way they're juxtaposing The Handmaids Tale by having #TheTestaments be brightly lit and colourful is sickening and incredibly clever. It feels like you're watching the girls play in an sinister dollhouse. thephrasemaker.com/2026/04/11/t...

Is Daisy Actually [Spoiler] in The Testaments?

Daisy is the newest Pearl Girl in Gilead, tasked with following and learning from Agnes. But is Daisy really who she (and the novel) says she is?

My 9yr old nephew auditioned for this movie & actually got pretty far in the process! But was so relieved when he didn't get it. He'd been cast as the Sheriff of Nottingham in his school play and really wanted to do that instead. It was an exciting few weeks but I love that he knows what he wants ❤️

I look back at All the President’s Men, released on this day 50 years ago. During production, screenwriter William Goldman said, “Expectations are so high on this movie that if the film is only good, it won’t be good enough.” If only he was here to see how powerful it still is: More @ Esquire…
