Excellent storytelling once again!👍 As a true crime enthusiast, difficult for me to not consider it. Brings to mind Ted Bundy, he who caused so many young women to inexplicably disappear from college campuses. Oddly? Ted Bundy was born in Burlington VT, exactly 1 week prior to this disappearance.

So the Cleveland Guard(Indians) averaged 1½ runs a game against the Chicago White Sox. They HAVE TO win Wednesday in the Windy City or the season's history. I called up MLB to demand we be allowed to score half-runs (hey, we need 'em) but MLB said it'd be too expensive to modify the scoreboards...⚾😮

One of the apartments I had in downtown LB - it rained inside. I stayed a year; I had to keep moving the single bed as more of the ceiling fell in. The owner - lived somewhere out of the country. Pure slumlord scenario. You wonder how these folks sleep nights...😮

👍 I lived in the poor part of downtown Long Beach (collitch student) so the Queen Mary was just down yonder. You could see it from the apartment roof. Applied for a job there twice for the summer, but no. My scriptbook - The Phorcynes - based on a WW2 incident with the Queen Mary as troop transport.
