I would avoid voting by US Mail, if possible, because I worry that the Trump Admin will try to slow down mail delivery around election time. I would try to vote early in person, if possible, because I expect Donald‘s minions to try to disrupt voting in a lot of D-leaning polling places.

Re Epstein Files: Representatives who want the files released need 218 signatures on the discharge petition. Looks like they’ll get there tomorrow if no one backs out. Then it needs to pass the House and the Senate with veto-proof margins because Trump PROBABLY won’t sign it into law.
