Even if you didn't want to go down the path of being an animator as a potential job path in the future. You could, if you wanted to, try doing comics or starting out with mini-comics with some characters/ocs. That's what I would like to try to do in the future. Like making comics with my ocs

Thanks 🥰 I had a lot of fun doing the background for this artwork! And all the different textures for this were nice to do ✨️, especially the graffiti, cause I used some brushes that I don't usually use a whole lot.

I finished it y'all! ✨️ This was an artwork for Artfight that I did for a friend. I drew her oc Mars facing off against my oc Darius! After artfight was over, I did extra shading & whatnot to the artwork cause I wasn't able to, I didn't have time, I only had a few hours left before artfight ended😅

Also, I just started working on this one last night, so it's in the pretty early stages of my process 😅 This isn't the current one I've been working on, I just haven't been able to take an updated photo of the current one cause I've been pretty busy this weekend & some this past week.

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 12/07/2025

Y'all if I can pull this posing/perspective off for this artfight attack, I think I'll have cooked, lol 😂 (Also, this attack is for a friend's oc and I'm drawing her oc Mars with my oc Darius, like in a sort of fight scene. I'm going to adjust the posing a little bit more for Mars before sketching.)

The true reason why the drive-through lines are so long

A digital illustration of a dragon sleeping on the roof of a burger joint ("Up n Away burger" a parody of In-n-out) drive-through at sunset. The dragon's tail is blocking the drive-through. Employees have mixed reactions, both laughing and frustrated. The car line is backing up. Some drivers laugh and take pics, others are annoyed.

He's a up-and-coming mobster in the fictional city of Redwood, or RW City for short 🤔 His story involves some supernatural/magical & maybe witchy stuff in it. (because Redwood has a hidden nightlife/ spooky things or something. Which involve vampires, witches, maybe faeries/fae & werewolves, etc 👀)

New oc just dropped, who's this, lol 😂 This is concept art I made this week for an oc of mine that I've only really ever written about through notes and writing in the journal I keep for story ideas/oc lore. Jim Castalonaso is a young 21 to 24-year-old. #ocart #conceptart #alcoholmarkers

Traditional art of concept art of a young 21 to 24-year-old, with short curly dark & light brown hair, green-yellow eyes, and a thin mustache and beard, and tan skin. The art was made with Ohuhu markers, Cricut pens & a white sakura gelly roll pen.

Full concept art of a young 21 to 24-year-old, with short curly dark & light brown hair, green-yellow eyes, and a thin mustache and beard, and tan skin. With a white button-up and grey-blue vest. There is a red pencil sketch above it of an older curly-haired man with a thin mustache and clean-shaven beard. Wearing a white button-up and suspenders. The man is either a friend of Jim's who's a fellow mobster, or it's his father.

Lose red pencil sketch before the finished concept art

(2/2) His species specializes in different types of magic & trying to enhance their physical/mental abilities. Which includes physical strength, shape-shifting, or in some rare cases, even telepathy and telekinesis or even flight/levitation.

000

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

(1/2) More lore, he's the father of my oc, Colton. Darius is 27, but He probably is much older than he looks. In stealing a god and goddess's powers, he achieved god-like or demigodhood at 18 to 20. Also, the alien species that he is a part of ages much slower than humans.

100

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

The stealer of a god & goddess powers himself, my oc Darius! A bit of lore about him. The spices he is a part of are called Trickster (it's a placeholder name). He has the ability to move quickly/teleport. He can use magic. I still haven't fully decided on his abilities. #characterdesign #oc

I've just been working on this artwork for a friend of mine. It's our characters' meeting for the first time. Mainly, I've been working on the background cause I've finished the characters. Also, for the books on the selves, most of them or all of them really, they're subtle lgbt+/pride flags

Flipped artwork of a corridor or entrance to a library with large wooden doors and bookshelves filled with books or small trinkets/ relics. This library has a large reinforced glass dome looking out into space.

Same flipped artwork but with two characters. The character (Isaac) on the left is a short male with a brown afro hairstyle, purple eyes, and small blue, pink, and purple horns. He is wearing a white button-up with a light blue vest with a star pattern around the shoulders and collar dark blue pants and a light blue bowtie. The character on the right is a tall male with dark brown hair and light green eyes. He has a dark grey mask on and a set of half armor with a dark blue bodysuit underneath with a red cape. He's holding a shield with a clock face and a golden short sword.

Thought I'd post about a new hyper-fixation of mine. Which is model kits! It started with this Pokémon model kit of Eevee This was fun to build, and it turned out really cute 🥰. While building it, I rewatched season 1 of the anime My Happy Marriage. #anime #MyHappyMarriage #modelkit #pokemon

Small brown, cream-colored model kit for the Pokémon Eevee.

Behind it is a computer with a glowing light-up rainbow keyboard. The computer is playing the anime My Happy Marriage.

I haven't fully decided yet on what that enhanced ability is, but it might have something to do with seeing things that normal humans can't and being able to create whatever weapon or item he may need as long as he is able to imagine what that weapon/item is.

11-12 years old. He got into an accident, which caused his eye to have some enhanced magical ability and a scar. Either somebody who had it out for his father or Darius himself who caused the accident to happen.

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

telekinesis, and a very rare ability among tricksters, which is electrokinesis. His god-like abilities are because of his father, Darius (that will be explained in the post for Darius as to why Colton has god-like abilities). As for how Colton got the scar on his left eye, it was when he was around

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

into the future.) Colton has god-like abilities to an extent because of him being human, he does have some magic abilities as well, and some enhanced physical strength, shape-shifting and retractable claws and he does have the potential to have some enhanced mental abilities like flight/levitation,

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Here's a bit of lore about my boy Colton! He is human and half a half-trickster (Tricksters are an alien species; the name might change later on). His story is set far into the future in the fictional city of Redwood ( it takes place during the kids of some of my OCs who are parents, so many years

100

NerdyWizard @thenerdywizard.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

I thought I'd show this reference sheet of my oc Colton, which I made at the end of June in preparation for artfight 2024! In the future, I would like to make a more detailed reference sheet for him and maybe add more stuff to his jacket & other stuff. #ocart #digitalart #fantasy #sci-fi

Reference sheet for a male original character named Colton, who is 19 years old, and his skin is pale. His left eye is pink, and his right eye is light blue. His brown hair is ear length, and his bangs slightly cover his thick brown eyebrows. The top of his hair is dusty pink. He is wearing a pink, blue, and gray split-colored oversized hoodie, a sort of cyberpunk/ sci-fi fantasy aesthetic.
His warm gray pants are slightly baggy. The pants have light gray belts, pink, purple, and blue stripes, and gold belt buckles.
The pockets are the same colors as the belts, but the top cover is a light gray, and the strap is a dark gray with stripes of pink, purple, and blue, with gold buttons.
His boots have a light gray trim, a dark, warm gray middle, and a light gray belt with a gold buckle.
The boot's sole is dark pink on the bottom and dark blue on top.

Mission complete: release the dragon!

In this follow up to the quote reposted illustration, the two kids who captured the baby dragon have patched its wing with some sort of blue, flexible material. The dragon is bigger now, and looks healthy. It emerges from a dog kennel in a junkyard car lot clearing. The two kids are perched on a broken down yellow taxi and look on proudly as the dragon stretches its repaired wings
