Shoes That Fit Distribution Day at David Crocket Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ. We gave shoes to 446 students today. We had DJ Shammy Dee spinning KPop Demon Hunters which the kids knew word for word. A fun and meaningful day was had by all! Thank you to our incredible volunteers!

Reporting from Phoenix, AZ, I’m here leading events with Shoes That Fit. This organization gives athletic shoes to kids in need. Nordstrom is on a mission to raise 1.7 million dollars and distribute 50k pairs of shoes to kids in need. #fashion #shoes #philanthropy www.shoesthatfit.org/nordstrom/

This week, I co-moderated a convo with Bob the Drag Queen about his new book Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert. Bob spoke powerfully about Harriet’s journey and the importance of turning allies into advocates. Read the book. #pride #lgbtq #queer #trans #drag #dragqueen #bookclub #reading #book

Spoke on RPA’s Pride panel with America Prays, Epiphany Kali, and Echo Nguyen about creating with honesty and showing up fully. Grateful for the space, the stories, and the drag show that followed. #Pride #LGBTQ #Trans #Authenticity #Activist #Creative #Panel #Marketing #Writer #Poet

Every April, I try to hold onto something that keeps changing. This poem is about jacarandas, Los Angeles, and the blur between past and present. #queerpoetry #poetry #poetrycommunity #poet #poem #poems #lgbtq #gay #queer

Two decades ago, I found myself at my first Pride. There’s something about that moment you realize you’re not alone. This is for anyone still standing on the outside, wondering if there’s room for them too. There is. There always has been. #poetry #poet #poem #writer #writing #queer #lgbtq #gay

I wrote this last night after witnessing this hate, driving home from an event. We need allies more than ever, not just in words but in action. #poetry #gaypoet #poet #gaywriter #lgbtpoetry #poem #queerpoet #poetrylovers #lgbtq #gay #queer #loveislove #lesbian #gaypride #trans #transgender

To my queer and trans siblings: whether you stand in light or survive in shadows, your existence is resistance. Across borders and struggles, our strength endures. We have always been here. We will always be here. No law or hate can break us. #lgbtq #lesbian #gay #bisexual #trans #queer #poem #love
