I’ve done the flight to the UK a few times to visit my long distance bestie. It’s a long flight but they feed you at least. Just remember to get up and stretch every so often. (I’m assuming you’re flying from the states here 😅)

At the beginning of the month I did my first ritual. I used cinnamon, a mantra, and a quarter entering my apartment to encourage wealth this month. Today, on my break, I sat outside and found a five dollar bill on the ground. You can tag me a believer friends. ✨

I’m also starting group therapy next week with the intent of rediscovering ourselves because we feel like we’ve lost ourselves along the way. So, that’s terrifying in its own way. Oh! And I’m doing a trial run with a queer and trans business group that supports one another. Another scary step.

It’s crazy to feel confident and sure about something and then a load of self doubt presents itself when I move a few inches closer. Even though I have no idea where to freakin’ start, I have to believe it’ll work out. I need it to. That’s the real scary part. 😭 someone save me from the spiral!

It’s like an adhd thought train. It’s explaining things with 5 sentences instead of just 1. It’s all the weird details you’d tell your bestie while high. It’s trying to play it cool but the true thoughts and feelings slip their way out. It’s not having the awareness that your youth was a bit odd.

When I write #Stobin scenes I write them as if they’re friends. The next revision adds jokes and playful banter. The final pass changes Robin pouring a glass of wine for herself to wordlessly taking Steve’s glass out of his hand and sipping it. She treats it like her own. No fuss from Steve follows.
