So the application for the JET program is open again. On top of the usual anxieties, I am technically what qualifies as gainfully employed this time, but I have no confidence in the American job market in a year if I do teach English in Japan. Should I go for it? Should I be this worried?

#AwesomeCharacters This is actually something I’m doing something unique on. Sophia, the protagonist, is not a POV! Leo and Lyn serve as POVs who follow Sophia directly. Natalia is a POV into the antagonists Desta is a connecting point between Natalia and the protagonists

Sophia’s parents just died, so early in the story, that person becomes Leo Leo would go to Simon. He feels like more of a father than his dad does, and Simon can call in Leo’s enforcement squad he rarely uses Natalia definitely goes to Takumi Lyn doesn’t know right now Desta is finding them

This would probably be Desta, but she spends most of the story disguised as a different beautiful woman. She was always the one with the most to say about the costumes for the band. Leo also dresses well, but he doesn’t put the effort into it, so Desta wins #AwesomeCharacters

I really love food in general as an avenue for explaining world building in an interesting way, so it’s all over most things I write. What stands out in my current WIP is that while food is all over, the people around Leo are the only ones I show cooking because normal people are too busy

Probably Simon. He makes a decent living off mob money, and Leo is the type of boss who doesn’t like having people killed, so he mostly gets to chill at a slow bar and afford his hobbies. He’s in a very rare position #AwesomeCharacters
