Hello everyone, I’m Mingau! I recently joined the Divine Beasts team and will primarily be working on modeling. One of my previous models, Taurovenator, has already been adopted into the DB roster and this is your first look at the big guy! #PathOfTitans

And don't take the art too seriously; sometimes I post art just to exercise my crazy ideas. It doesn't mean I think it's probable or "accurate."

Credits for the skeletal in the upper left corner: Scott Hartman. ----- I didn't base this drawing on the skeletal; I only used it to show the extent of the soft tissues. -----

Foggy morning in Late Pleistocene Patagonia. #Art #SciArt #artbyjulio

A scene depicting the Patagonian scrubland in the early morning, dotted with araucarias and framed by foggy mountains in the background. A pair of Macrauchenia, four guanacos and a patagonian mara are seen among the grass. A Megatherium walks by further away and a crested caracara flies over the scene.

PS: Speculation in paleoart isn't just about colorful dinosaurs with visual display structures.😉(no offense) I also apologize if I didn't put much effort into the anatomy and art of the therizinosaur, it was just a simple drawing to play with the idea. #creativepaleoart

I thought it was interesting to speculate this, as I've never seen pectinate claws explored in paleoart before (I apologize if someone has already speculated this and I missed it). And since therizinosaurs had these huge claws, I felt almost compelled to do so.

This was my inspiration for this Therizinosaur; I chose to add this feature to the first two claws, and I also imagine that it might be useful for other purposes.

I didn't include this feature (pectinate claw) on the last claw of therizinosaur because in modern birds this feature is never present on all claws. From what I've seen, they have it on the middle finger, although here I decided to add it to at least two claws.

With claws this size, I thought it would be interesting to speculate about this in therizinosaur, perhaps because it could be one of the functions of the enormous claws.

Some birds have claws adapted and modified to "comb" their feathers (pectinate claw), this helps them get rid of ectoparasites. Here I decided to use my creativity and imagine a therizinosaur with something similar in the claws of its hands
