Man, the NYT is bending over backwards to avoid saying Trump is lying. -We control 60 percent of oil? Exaggerated! It’s only 22. -Ended the War in Gaza in just a few weeks? Exaggerated! Its been going on almost two years since he took office. -Eliminated 97 percent of drugs? No evidence!

First, welcome to the resistance Ron White. Second, this perfectly encapsulates the fraud that is Joe Rogan: he has no issue being confidently wrong on so many topics. But when a guest pushes back with facts, suddenly he’s like “I’m just a dumb fucking idiot and don’t know enough on this topic.”

Hey @nytimes.com I’m confused on this clue. The answer to this seems right, but then the other words don’t make sense.
A screenshot of a crossword puzzle app on a smartphone. The timer at the top reads 5:45. Most of the crossword grid is filled in, with answers including MAGI, LIST, OXEN, NASKS, CENSORSHIP, LETLCE, ADERBS, IMAGE, BEET, TOURS, ELLE, ENDAT, ALMA, MAIM, and MAAM. Several squares near the lower-right are circled. A vertical entry near the center is highlighted in blue, with its first square highlighted yellow. At the bottom, the displayed clue is “Threesome.”

Was listening to @pablo.show and @lebatardshow.bsky.social discuss Van Natta’s response, and it hit me: DVN moved the goalposts. He reported NBA found no evidence. He’s now pointing to no *direct* evidence. Sure, but there was more than enough *indirect* evidence for a finding he did it.
A bullet point stating that the NBA found no direct evidence that Steve Ballmer funneled money through Aspiration to Kawhi Leonard, noting that the allegation was not a central focus of the report.

Man, that whole “the NBA couldn’t find evidence the Clippers were funneling money to Kawhi” story the Clippers leaked a few weeks ago looks really bad now, considering there’s apparently evidence they engaged in at least one sham deal that they funded.

I’ve decided to start adding weird clauses into the CBA on @mlblockout2027.bsky.social The first one requires @katienolan.bsky.social to call one game for each team while high and a playoff game called by Dan Soder as MAGA Andre the Giant. The players will warm up to the idea.

I only learned today about Floyd Mayweather’s law firm. I have many questions, but I’ll start with just this one. How can you have 200+ attorneys with 50+ years experience? So each attorney has been in the profession for three months on average?

These threads were an hour apart. If it’s engagement farming, he’s doing a great job. If it’s satire it’s incredible. If he’s serious there’s no way he has any friends.
Screenshot of two consecutive Threads posts by user “atheistadam,” discussing the reported death of Dolly Parton at age 80. The first post says she was the fourth of 12 children, raised in a one-room cabin in the Tennessee mountains, graduated high school on a Friday, left for Nashville the next day, and became known for her big blonde hair and flashy clothes. The second post explains that as a child, Dolly admired a woman in town who wore piled-high blonde hair, bright lipstick, high heels, and flashy clothes, despite others calling her the “town tramp,” and decided that was how she wanted to look. The posts show engagement icons and counts.Screenshot of two consecutive Threads posts by “atheistadam,” part of a six-post series about Dolly Parton. The first says Parton deserves more scrutiny than the “saintly” version of her legacy receives. It acknowledges her philanthropy, including the Imagination Library’s distribution of hundreds of millions of books and donations to disaster relief, education, and medical research, while arguing there was a contradiction between the woman who wrote “9 to 5” and the economic position she later occupied. The second post says Parton became extremely wealthy through businesses and intellectual property associated with her name. It discusses Dollywood, co-owned with Herschend, and claims many frontline workers were paid below MIT’s estimated living-wage level for Sevier County, while noting that Parton did not personally set every wage, Dollywood offered benefits such as tuition assistance, and those facts should be considered. The screenshot shows engagement counts and a “View 4 more” indicator.

One of the most maddening things about Amazon delivery is you can provide a detailed step-by-step for how to reach your door, and you’ll inevitably get a driver who doesn’t read it and goes “I don’t know what to do!”

I know AJ has been a star for quite a while, and I get it this is his son he’s defending…but I’m a little surprised at how he’s coming off here. Michael Jordan’s kids were expected to be talented players but flamed out, in part because they tried to coast by simply being MJ’s kids. Same vibes here.

It’s worth pointing out that even if the KUOW argument was true, that doesn’t really vindicate Barnes, but rather indicated Seattle PD had long had an issue with absenteeism with their leaders.
Screenshot of a text-heavy article excerpt. Several words are highlighted in red, including “making the rounds.” The passage discusses KUOW editor and reporter Catherine Smith and guest Angela Poe Russell, stating they incorrectly claimed that police chiefs commonly spend between one-quarter and one-third of their time out of town. It includes a quote from Russell criticizing one-sided journalism and notes that Smith agreed it was not “fair” to criticize one chief for traveling that much if other chiefs do the same.

This is hilarious for a few reasons: 1. Elon tries a gotcha by comparison a country with 342 million people go a continent of 744 million people. 2. Even better of course, when he challenges the Economist to write about how Europe needs A/C, Beddoes points out they did, as recently as last week.

So I came across this because of a post I saw on Twitter by good ol’ baiter “Dov Kleiman” that quoted SAS saying this…read the article and quotes, nothing. So I listened to the clip “Dov” posted and sure enough, he doesn’t say anything close to that in the video. Accounts like his must be stopped.

In the middle panel, a large wrestler responds with exaggerated, unintelligible gibberish. In the bottom panel, the announcer stares forward with a blank, unimpressed expression.

@darthamin.bsky.social I’m assuming you’ll cover this if you haven’t already but this seems significant. Is the NBA tipping its hand that they’re considering voiding Kawhi’s contract, since that’s the only risk Toronto would be taking on? Or are the Raptors just being overly cautious?

Excerpt from a printed U.S. Supreme Court dissenting opinion in a serif typeface. The visible text reads: “Nor should we take the position that our hands are tied by dicta in a sprawling 19th-century opinion that is, to put the point gently, very far from a model of careful judicial craftsmanship. Too much is at stake.” The user identifies the excerpt as coming from a dissent by Justice Alito.

Like, it’s absurd. It went from “Yep, seems legit” to “It’s clearly fake because the DMs say UFC 250 and not the full name of the event” in about two hours. Now it wants you to believe DC either intentionally posted fake DMs or couldn’t remember it he’s ever talked to Eric Trump. Fucking dunce

Of all the bad lies over the years, this is my favorite. To believe this, you’d have to accept Daniel Cormier saw AI-generated screenshots of a conversation he didn’t have, posted them, and then deleted them because he…remembered he didn’t have that conversation? Bruh. Just say you were hacked.
Screenshot of an X (formerly Twitter) post from the verified account “Eric Trump” (@EricTrump). The post reads: “We are aware of the fake, AI generated screenshots being circulated online. I have never spoken to Daniel. He has since deleted his post, which confirms it was clearly fabricated. @UFC @danawhite”. The post is timestamped “5:35 PM · 6/14/26” and shows 1.2 million views, about 2,000 comments, 1,200 reposts, 8,600 likes, and 813 bookmarks. The X.com logo appears in the upper-right corner.

Screenshot of an X.com post by verified user BostonNooga addressed to @bullyray5150. The post says the author lost 100 pounds over 400 days despite health challenges including diabetes, a bad hip, and a worse knee. They explain they were motivated partly by wanting to stay alive for their daughter and partly out of spite after being compared to Bully Ray and insulted as “fat” during online arguments. The post thanks Bully Ray sarcastically for motivating the weight loss and ends with an explicit insult followed by “Go Sox.”

Like really, do they think someone white dude is about to be promoted but then a person of color swoops in and throws this on the table?
A stylized playing card inspired by a reverse-style game card design. The card has a bold purple background with a thick white border and rounded corners. In the center, two large white arrows curve in opposite directions, forming a circular “reverse” symbol. Across the arrows is a white ribbon banner with the words “REVERSE DISCRIMINATION” in bold purple capital letters. Smaller versions of the reverse arrow icon appear in the top-left and bottom-right corners. The overall design is clean, high-contrast, and graphic, with a slight radial glow effect behind the central symbol.

Front and back of a stylized identification or commemorative card themed around the United States.

Left (front): A blue-toned portrait of fucking Donald Trump in a suit centered over a faded image of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. An American flag pattern overlays the background. Below the portrait is a gold stylized version of his signature, along with the text “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.”

Right (back): A similar flag-themed background with a circular blue illustration of historical figures (resembling the signing of the Declaration of Independence). Beneath it appears “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” with a star emblem, and at the bottom is a barcode with the number “A12345678.”
