My piece for the @twstfairytales.bsky.social zine is now on Ao3! After a tumble into Wonderland puts him within Riddle's judicial crosshairs, Floyd sets out to do what he does best: Whatever he feels like at the moment. 🫖 #TWST 🫖G 🫖3.3k 🫖Fairy Tale AU 🫖 #FloRid 📖 archiveofourown.org/works/82215111

Preview text, this time in the form of a courtroom transcript:

CATER:
Well according to Wondercam, Floyd sneezed at the spring concert and got a lizard to do his maths homework.

RIDDLE:
Disrupting a performance and getting others to help you cheat at your schoolwork, how disgraceful!

FLOYD:
Hey, that’s not true! I sneezed at a soup, the concert hadn’t even happened yet, and I never bullied any lizard, just kicked ‘im!
I did get an egg to do my homework for me, though. That part’s true.

RIDDLE:
Are you aware of the food safety regulations you have just admitted to violating?

FLOYD:
Ain’t nothing safe about that soup.

I have to talk again about how much -fun- my fic in LRP was to write! I went out of my way to include as many characters and tell this story in a series of as non-traditional formats as I could, and had a blast stretching those writing muscles✨ Please go check out this zine, you won't regret it~

RIDDLE:
You will speak only when permitted!
You are hereby charged with a number of crimes. In addition to your failure to depart Wonderland during the timeframe I had previously communicated to you, you also disrupted Ace the Heart’s and Deuce the Spade’s essential work painting my roses red by somehow painting them teal instead.
We don’t even have teal paint.
How did you manage to accomplish this!?
FLOYD:
That’s for me to know and you to find out~

My last fic for the year (for the 5k AU event via Amnesty Weekend) is now on Ao3! Kalim proposes to Jamil, who challenges him to a game in return—a game that does not go quite the way that Kalim expects it to. 🐍 #TWST 🐍 M 🐍 5k 🐍 Royalty AU 🐍 #JamiKali 📖 archiveofourown.org/works/76610926

Preview text:
And Jamil held his gaze, something definitely stirring behind the opaque curtains he rarely, if ever, drew back.
“Is that what you truly wish for?”
“More than anything else in the world.”
The way Jamil looked back at him also conquered Kalim’s senses, drawing him further into his presence, away from the surrounding world where—
“Forget what I said earlier.” He drew his hands back into Kalim’s sight, slithering past each other as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. “How about we play a game, instead? If you can figure out what it is that I wish for the most and grant it to me—before I am able to do the same for you—then I will happily marry you…” his voice descended into a whisper, “…no matter the consequences.”
The flame within Kalim roared to life. “I accept!”

Over the last 2 weeks I've written 24k (14k just last week), finished Cruise Control and got it all on Ao3 for All Ships Week, and met zine check-ins. So I can face plant onto the floor, right? -Looking at my newest base wig and the pile of cosplay sewing to be finished before Halloween- ...Right!??

This fic's still cooking, but I'm working on getting the whole thing online by the end of All Ships Week! In the meantime, here's one of my favourite bits of this fic that I've written so far (Psst, it's #FloRid!) (Is anyone even surprised anymore lol) #WordGameWednesday

Screenshot of a Twisted Wonderland fanfic WIP that reads:

Opening his eyes again, Riddle’s mind searches for familiarity, and finds it in the emerging outline of Floyd’s sleeping body beside him. As if focusing on his partner can bring other details into sharper focus, Riddle discovers that the rumble of Floyd’s snores does in fact drown out the creaking of the ship, and that the rise and fall of his chest distracts him from the ‘motion of the ocean’, as the man himself had called it earlier.
Even now, Floyd is Riddle’s stable rock, standing in the turbulent sea of his life.

It's wild just how much fun I'm having writing the fic for LRP! Gotta keep it under wraps ofc, but I -can- say that I'm using a familiar format for all kinds of brand new storytelling mechanics, and it's got me giggling the whole way! I hope it both entertains you and makes you laugh a bit, too~

From a really long chaptered FloRid fic that I've been slowly cobbling together behind the scenes. It's a, uh, -bit- different than what I've posted for them so far! #wordgamewednesday

Screenshot of a work in progress Twisted Wonderland fic, which reads:

"Y'know Goldfishie, it was kinda fun pretending to be your plaything," the hands gripping the scion’s wrists lock them above his head as Riddle’s back hits the wall, Floyd’s right eye glowing at him through the dark like a deep sea lure guiding him into cavernous jaws, "but playtime's over."

From my JamiKali draft for this year's 5k AU! aka sometimes the real good stuff I write comes to me whenever insomnia gives me nothing else to do besides stare at the insides of my eyelids while still waiting for sleep at 3am

Screenshot of a work in progress doc with the words:

‘Love’ was a word that could not pass Jamil’s lips. It was a word then trapped within Kalim’s heart. With nowhere else to go, its absence announced its presence.

A quick bit from my latest #FloRid multi-chapter #ficwip that I've been brewing in between all my other event fics! I know it's been taking a VERY long time, but I promise it's worth it 🌹🦈

Preview text:

Trey is visibly relieved, but his reaction almost pales in comparison to Floyd’s. The merman scoops up Riddle’s suitcase with a single arm and swings it over his shoulder. “Alrighty then, Goldfishie! I’ll take your stuff over to my room for ya~”
For the first time all day, Riddle feels a familiar fire rise within him. “Give that back, Floyd!” It is stoked all the more by Floyd’s laughter, echoing off the walls and staring students as Riddle shoots off magic in the pursuit of retrieving his luggage.
“Uh-oh!” His eyes glitter with mirth. “Goldfishie’s mad again~ Catch, Jade!”
He tosses the suitcase to his twin, who catches it with unfortunate ease and an even more unfortunate smile. “I take it that our task now is to ensure that Riddle’s belongings are conveyed to Octavinelle without delay?”
“No it is not!”
“You heard ‘im, Jade. Hop to it!”

(All of them tbh) But I'mma shout out "The Legend of Sidon: Breath of the Asthmatic" and "Fairly Twisted Parents", since they're not only the longest fics I'd written, but what I poured the most unrestrained silly joy into worldbuilding! I'd even say it was more like "playing", not just "writing" 💖

Just wanted to say, for no reason ofc, how much I love the way that all the fanworks we love are created by how their creator's thoughts, feelings, experiences, preferences, memories, and way more jumble around together in the weirdness that's the human mind, no "generative" machinery required!
