And on base is already a thing thats stressed and rewarded. So youre just wanting a more contact approach, which teams having the best years sometime do achieve. Last year’s Jays, this years Rays, Brewers. The good version of the Astros Kd less than everybody else.

Its not about guys not wanting to hit for average. They realized that you’re not gonna get many hits off these pitchers, so you might as well swing big and when you get a hit you don’t wind up stranded at first. Its the pitching quality that lead to this. Not hitters deciding to do it.

The fact that nobody hits anyones bullpen is very lame. We just sit around waiting for the first multi run hit and then wait for the final out. If is your team thats ahead each out feels like intense drama, but if your anyone else its a slow slog of inevitability.

1 thing i want 2 discuss cause everyone is talking about the “crapshoot” of the playoffs line. Thats only an excuse if you were the best team in the league and lost in the small sample size. This generation loses in the full sample size then pretends that was a fluke and they’ll win when it counts

We’re living through the worst time to be a yankee fan since the silent era.

This is also a huge dilemma. Boone did manage well, he is a good manager and hes improved over the years. Cash and the FO did develop alot of major league talent and 2 stars. But they are also a hugely flawed every team every year and never seem to adjust or fix their flaws.

Mike, modern yankee fans are actually not spoiled when we complain anymore. We complain cause we see the same poor play year after year and excuses year after year and nothing is done. 3 division titles in 10 years with highest AL payroll, nothing crapshoot about the regular season.

ALDS game 1+2 is the first time they had atmosphere all year. They also get a pro yankee crowd every regular season game and still beat the yankees every regular season series.
