Dug out my old bottle of Teranishi Chemical Industry's "Melancholy Blue" (the collection/series name is Guitar Taisho Roman Haikara) to do some drafting today and I've forgotten how pretty this ink is. It's my first (and still only) dark blue ink. A beautiful deep navy, especially in an EF nib.

I understand our obsession with epics & grand narratives, but there's so much more to ancient mythology. There are smaller stories that shape-changed over the centuries and travelled to faraway lands. They were about ordinary people, seen as dispensable by heroes and kings. They deserve us too.
