Reading is political. Reading has always been political. Your favorite characters wouldn’t just sit by and watch. They’d get up and burn some shit to the ground. #booksky

The nice things about books: once you own them, you own them, forever. No one will be eye tracking your reading habits. No one will make money of you reading the book as many times as you'd like. And the very same book can be read by generations to come. It can last centuries, literally. It's great.

"We'll edit it in post" NO, ACTUALLY. We, as a video-based TTRPG performance space, cannot afford that, outside of like *maybe* a dozen studios. As someone who advocated hard for the concept of pre-recording shows before CR or D20 popularized it, that wasn't to encourage *more* labor to the show.

a labor of love, also known as a DaVinci Resolve project file showing one half of an Actual Play episode edit with two dozen tracks, hundreds of subtitles, as well as hundreds of edits.

Everyone thinks Jean Grey is the villain in Brand New Day, but I got an alternative what if it isn't Jean Grey exactly but Madyline Pryor (a.k.a. the Goblin Queen 👀). Sinister plays with DNA as much if not more than Jackal. Maybe its a combination of the two storylines.

english isn't for cowards. if you're not saying 'torpify,' that's a skill issue. there's no Académie Française telling you what to do. if you try to type 'pallific' and freak out when you see a little red underline, maybe you're not ready to roll with the big dogs.

I have slowed down on #P5R this year due to the fact I was worried I didn't have enough time to get the max confidant ranks for Akechi and Maruki before the end of second semester. The weight that lifted off my shoulders with 10days to spare. Now I can freely focus on other characters to bond with.

This is a bit of a jaded topic to bring up, but it really does suck how so many games reach artistic recognition by being depressing. I'd much rather confront the harsh truths of the world through hope, optimism, and empowerment, especially since the game medium feels naturally built for that.

As a game designer, I always love learning other people's games. It is an opportunity to learn something new -- a different way to see a problem, how a clever mechanic is employed, or a contrasting design approach. A designer needs to constantly evolve to stay proficient. #wargaming
