Fun with my bestie yesterday morning, despite my brutal RA pain. I was pumped full with painkillers, and the neoprene gloves worked like compression gloves, but my wrists still hurt a lot. We snorkeled, dived & stayed in the water for over an hour. What else would you do in 40C degree heat, eh? 🧜‍♀️🌊🤿🐟

Back at my happy place! 🌊🧜‍♀️ Rather windy today, but the sea in this little corner, sheltered from the north wind, wasn't too bad for snorkeling and diving... 🤿 🇮🇨

Hildesheim, my birth city. This is the Marktplatz. These beautiful historical buildings were lovingly restored, true to the originals where possible, in the 1980s. They were completely destroyed in the worst air attack in the war on Hildesheim on 22. March 1945. #hildesheim #marktplatz #fachwerkhaus

Stole the fishies food, and they followed me... I gave it back to them in the end though. It was a recently deceased sea urchin, and the flesh inside is great fish food! 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

Hi guys. Did you miss me? My rheumatoid arthritis flare has continued with full force, but I've had some good enough days in between (only possible on painkillers Lornoxicam + 1g paracetamol) to enjoy a bit of time with my nephew Leonel and his girlfriend Maria, who are over from Germany.

Outsmarted ChatGPT with my super power knowledge of the English language! 💪🇬🇧🏆 I needed some examples for a student of sentences with adjectives and adverbs, and OMG, "friendlily"?! 😂🙈 Human: 1 - AI: 0 #ai #chatgpt #aimistakes #englishlanguage #englishteacher #aisucks

I finally finished the other side of my bedroom. Check out the *last photo* to see the extreme clutter situation it was in before, to now being close to a zen-like state. I absolutely love it! ❤️ #bohostyle #bedroom #creativity #interiordesign #bamboo

Improvised this simple macrame pattern today, jazzing up my new IKEA wardrobe, to make it look less like IKEA and more boho. 😁💡🪢 🇸🇪 #crafts #macrame #ikea #boho #bohostyle #handmade

Our very own whirlpool! We had mega fun on Saturday (even though I did suffer some small cuts and bruises, which I didn't notice until afterwards). 🌊 Janine's screaming through her snorkel is hilarious. 🤿🤣 #ocean #current #fun #funny #lanzarote #besties #water #whirlpool #waves

That's it. I'm going back to turquoise again once this has grown out. The purple just doesn't fare too well with ocean water, and turquoise fades much nicer after every snorkel/dive session, and less quickly too....😭 #hair #purplehair #ocean #saltwater #diving #fadedhaircolour #punky #alternative

Purple dyed hair, and faded lavender hair after one session in the ocean.

Slate grey/blueish weird colour hair after two sessions in the ocean....

Built a cabinet for my bedroom last weekend. Most of the wood & the knobs I still had lying around, the paint was 10€, the teal coloured fabric (a rug!) 3€, plus a few €€€ more for hinges & screws etc. It also cost me a lot of sweat & pain in my hands, but it was worth it! 🪚🪛🔨 #diy #cabinet #bedroom

Over the last few months, I've been giving my bedroom a boho style makeover. Pic1 is the old purple wall colour. Pic3, repurposed previously black curtains. It's nowhere near finished, but one side of the room looks very nice already. #boho #bohostyle #diy #makeover #bedroom #colours #orange #cosy
