...I'm giving myself a deadline. April. By April I will either be out of this God damned job and state...or it will be my final goodbye to everyone.

Oh cool. My area is in a flood alert until Thursday afternoon. Ok.

The very second I walked into work today I should have known. I'm just so fucking tired...

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Four...FOUR pieces of sequel bait. Ok, Control Resonant. I'm all in.

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I just beat three bosses in Control Resonant and ALL problems I may or may not have had just got thrown out the window. This may be my GOTY. Every time I think I have a handle on Remedy's bag of tricks, they pull three more out and beat my ass with them. Best company ever.

Can't wait to own a third copy of Rayman Legends and Origins. Just gonna put this out there...knowing that there are new levels, a while story, and all that? I bet Rayman Legends Retold is setting up something big. Like it's secretly revamping the timeline so 1 is set after it.

As this point I have more belief in Beyond Good And Evil 2 AND Viewtiful Joe 3 than I do DEG, Corpse Party 2, and Tiling Town.

As your resident Sonic Slut, let me just say: Please don't make a Sonic Cinematic Universe. I know it's already technically there, but I am more implying the idea that there is no end in sight. Don't make eleven movies and oversaturate the market...find a good stopping point.

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

In one single hour Control Resonant jumped to a top five of the year and almost made me cry.

It is super foggy, but I must drive through the Lost Highway to go to work.

...so have you ever had it where your mind wakes up from a dream and you go from the dream to the "darkness" of your eyes closed? There were eyes staring at me in there. And when I opened mine they were still there for a minute, and they blinked. Then I saw teeth. It smiled.

...So the moment I start reading webcomics on Tapas, it declares it will shut down. Fucking hell.

News outlets and networks that say a show was "cancelled" when it has a proper series finale are getting on my last nerve. The show wasn't cancelled. The writer created an X-season storyline, they got X seasons. It's FINISHED. You can say that word, it's not gonna hurt you!

Other updates: Suitable Flesh is meh in the first half, but the second half is great. And Tales From The Darkside is the "LOL So Random!!!" Of horror anthologies.

Updates: Grandpa's wake is Thursday and mass is Friday, no way work will give me the time this late and even then the travel arrangements will suck. Have a plan to visit next year. Today is Demo day, tomorrow is Space Or The Unbound, and maybe Thursday Control (no voice).

Just gonna say it now: Next Thursday will have no stream. I need Control Resonant right now.

000

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Further news: My grandfather isn't going to make it two weeks.

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

So...while the stream pumped me up, and I dealt with everything pretty much last year...the fact of the matter is about seven hours ago I got a voice message from my mom. My grandfather's Alzheimers has taken his walking, meaning we are in the final stretch. He has days to weeks left.

010

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

...I may be low energy today on stream. I will explain on stream. I just got hit with some news.

010

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Just realized my life is a lie. I always thought I never knew a person with a Neo Geo, CD-i, 3DO, or a Saturn. But finding out that Virtual-On was on a Saturn just sent me down a rabbit hole that ended at Break Point Tennis...a game I recognize from my grandma's house. She had a Saturn!!!

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I can't do it. Nine Sols is NOT worth finishing. I'm even near-ish the end of the game and this one enemy just refuses to be parried half the time, despite the timing always being the same. This isn't consistent and it sure as shit isn't fun.

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

So...have voice lines to record, and an update thing to make, and also need to get ready for a Saturday podcast. Kind of just realized all this. LOL

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Onimusha: Way Of The Sword is absolutely amazing. Haven't played Requiem yet (To be fair, have RE7 and 8 to catch up on), but so far Capcom is two for two when it comes to GOTY contenders. So of course that stupid GTA6 will win.

020

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Finishing up Onimusha, bear with me.

000

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Can't believe I'm saying this... Go, Ocarina Of Time! Kick GTA's ass!!!!!

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

NEW KIRBY. A RELEASE DATE FOR DANGANRONPA. METROID FUCKING SIX!!!!!!!! I WIN! PHOEBE WINS THE NINTENDO DIRECT!

010

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I will be streaming the Nintendo Direct today. If there is no Metroid, it will be as much of a waste of time as the Gamescom Opening Night this year. Aka a 2/10

010

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I'm gonna eat and give my cat his insulin...then the stream shall begin. Don't kill me...but it might be FF14 :P LOOK, NOBODY TOLD ME BEASTMASTER AND MSQ WERE TODAY!

010

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Since there is no DeMonday this week, and we know Nintendo doesn't do copyrighted music in their trailers...figure on Wednesday I could stream the Nintendo Direct. The base one, MAYBE also the Zelda one.

000

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Well...Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die is a wild ride. But a damn fun one!

000

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

#Onimusha So....anybody else having problems with Windswept Kennin-Ji? The big wooden doors are locked for me and there is no other way in that I can find.

000

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

When the tutorial/demo boss of Onimusha Way Of The Sword takes you three tries still, but the next boss you get on the first try.

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Ok...I must be crazy. Why do people like Nine Sols?

100

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Sorry, was watching the state of play and then went to Nine Sons and now need to stab the cat with the insulin. THEN the stream shall begin.

Hi Trump, I'm a person who has been working six days a week for the vast majority of the last four years. I want more holidays, more sick time, higher pay, AAAAAAAAND a four day work week. Not "or", AND. Also, GO IRAN.

020

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

...Tron Ares is fine. It's dumb fun and that's what I wanted. Not as good as Tron Legacy or the OG, but they were able to replicate that 80's CGI perfectly.

TheLetsPlayPrincess @thelpprincess.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Sorry, roomy is home and sick. No stream today.
