Well, he could be a little infuriating sometimes… But she knows he means well.

Oh… Well, it’s not as if she *hated* him before… but she supposes he’s grown on her a little bit.

She’s back with a bat, holding it so it doesn’t wriggle too much. “Alright… this is gonna feel weird, and according to Shady, it hurts for a second, but just… try to relax…” She tries to sound reassuring, but there’s only so much you can say to describe this kind of magical process.

No… then they wouldn’t work. She just needs bat DNA for the spell.

How concerned should she be with how quickly she’s desensitizing to his shenanigans?

“Cool! I’m gonna go find a bat to sacrifice!” It’ll be fine… probably. It’s only gonna reconfigure his bone structure to accommodate a new anatomical anomaly!

“Can’t argue with vibes…” As long as he’s okay with being her first human test subject. So far she’s only tried it on Shady.

‘Auntie Freya’ surprised her a little bit, but it did bring a smile to her face. “Don’t thank me yet… you haven’t even seen if they actually work yet.” She said with a chuckle, taking a step back so he could take his first practice flight.

Freya literally sacrificed her brother’s girlfriend to the ancestors who wanted to torment her for the rest of her afterlife. She is hardly going to act like anyone’s character judge.
