Okay, starting a @thelongdark.bsky.social stalker survival run. I’m mostly an interloper player, which is technically the hardest mode since items are limited and the weather is worse. With stalker, the wildlife is more aggressive, but you get extra stuff, incl. guns.

Johnson: "As much as I can, yeah. We’re responsible for creating our own culture. Nobody else is going to do it for us. What’s worse is if we don’t do it, then our culture will be created by others, and we’ll be forced to accept it. I’ve been spending a lot of time in Quebec for a movie I’m writing, and I saw a singer-songwriter called Jérôme 50 perform. He broke out into 400-year-old coureur de bois songs, and the crowd of 1,000 people was singing along—they knew all the words. I thought, What an amazing gift. I would love for English Canada to have that same shared set of stories, even if they’re ephemeral comedy movies. Something that gets us to feel, if not pride, then a sense of commonality with one another."

Just finished @thelongdark.bsky.social Ep 5, and I'm gonna say it. It was everything I've been waiting 13 years for. Such a beautiful and tragic conclusion. @raphlife.bsky.social did an amazing job with the ending, the entire cast outdid themselves. It's a surreal feeling to finally be at the end.

I really love this quote from @raphlife.bsky.social about supporting Canadian creators. It's something I've long felt we collectively need to do better, *especially* in games media. Many people here say they want this but don't actually walk the walk. Support games like @thelongdark.bsky.social!
