Every week when I drop food at the local free fridge there are people waiting for meals, and it's always gone within an hour. People have spoken to me about picking up meals for their local community, elderly people in low income housing and those who just wouldn't eat if not for donations.

They're thinking about it but I think because their class is being covered by some kind of financial program they might not get the money reimbursed. I just hate the logic the teacher gave that "some jobs might require it" means it had a place in the classroom.

Friend refuses to use Chat and told the professor as much, and will be allowed to do the assignment on their own, generating their own lesson concepts etc instead of outsourcing to a machine. (Y'know an assignment that makes sense and would teach something.)

Friend is taking a *GEOLOGY* course in college where they were given an assignment to use chatgpt to generate lesson plans based on concepts in the syllabus (???). Then in groups they were to discuss, correct etc their thoughts on said plans. 1/?
