I've tried to replay pokemon red several times over the years, but never made it very far. My partner got me FireRed for switch2 - so let's try again XD I... was today years old when I realized this is pallet like *painter's pallet.* For decades, I was just thinking:

Six weeks into my partner having a fatigue flare that's left him nearly bedbound - and I'm hitting a wall pretty badly. Because my EDS means I'm easily injured, I was only in charge of light house chores; now I'm trying (and failing) to do everything. Now my back is so hurt, I can't even get to PT.

I finished Forbidden Solitaire (light spoilers!). The linear plot went exactly where we guessed it was going, but we never got bored along the way. The story was tight, albeit a little shorter than I wished. Not being able to answer your sister's texts for six hours was the most horrifying part 🥲

The power is mercifully, finally back on after 100 hours without it. I'm starting to restock my fridge now that the stores here are also starting to restock. Losing *everything* in my fridge and freezer hurt. My medical issues mean my food options are extremely limited and rather costly.

One that comes to mind: a smuggler's freighter crashed into a skyscraper on Nar Shaddaa, which began to fall. Our heroes had to leap onto the ship, run/skid down the side of the falling building, and save civilians on the way down - all while deflecting blasters and fighting an enemy force user.

I love adventure editing so damn much. It sits at that perfect nexus of storytelling, editing, narrative design, and GM prep work - many of my strongest skills. And working with folks who are just as passionate to craft and refine stories others will get to play and experience is just... incredible.
