With the heatwave kicking off, I've had to migrate from the railway room but I'm taking the opportunity to work through custom wagons that have been lingering in my project drawer. Made cracking progress tonight and should have a lot finished and ready to play with come the end of next week!

I think it's time to acknowledge the most toxic trait I developed during COVID/lockdown was collecting (mostly) limited edition wagons. I now have over 150 and can only fit 12 on my layout at any one time... ...and there's still more on my pre-orders and wishlist.

While I work on interesting parts of the layout for videos, I'm also working on less challenging aspects that use skills already covered by my videos. I now have handy storage sidings backdropped by the Swindon Works tunnel. These will come in handy for storing rolling stock during future videos!
