I went to ballotpedia to learn more about what is on my ballot this year. Wouldn’t you know a rejected ballot measure was to make our state an independent nation? I about died of laughter because of all the ways it won’t work. No, I’m not in Texas (though the sentiment is very Texas-coded iykwim)

It never ceases to amuse me when i throw a little Greek tidbit to my husband regarding the liturgy and then the pastor throws that same tidbit out. Like when paul says he counts it all as “rubbish” he didn’t mean rubbish. He meant excrement. 🤣

I wore my hair down today, curls undefined, hair extra poofy, and a student asked me what happened to my hair. “It got big!” I said. Student responded “a bomb exploded in ms Karen’s hair!” And that is how this student became my favorite (at least for today)

Had a work training for Title IX and our state recognizes gender identity as protected. I was sitting next to my coworker and told them “pronouns are life, yo!” I am always using pronouns. It’d be really weird not to. In fact, I used eight in this post. 😏 I think. Math is not my fav.

Don’t feel too bad. I’ve never seen Blade Runner and don’t remember the fifth element. There are other franchises I’m also unfamiliar with because my sci fi love developed later and/or my parents didn’t like them (usually bc of hearsay)
