Watching Dario Amodei and Sam Altman address the UN Security Council jointly to express the existential threat of AI. Trump is unwilling to listen to Anthropic and OpenAI. The UN must listen and must treat these threats much the same as we do nuclear weapons. They must be regulated and monitored.

I can tell you from very personal experience that we pay close attention to the results of the annual Interop efforts. If you are a developer who has been driven nuts by non-interoperable implementations in different browsers, please allow your voice to be heard.

I would say that the problem with our government right now is he accurately states what is happening and uses the word “illegally” several times, yet there is not punishment and the crimes will continue. With no consequences, illegal behavior has no reason the stop. Relying on “morals” doesn’t work.

Sometimes it’s nice to take a tour of your home town. Parked in Pioneer Square and Christa and I walked up the waterfront, up to Pike Place and then down 1st back to the car. It’s a really beautiful city.
