It's strange times on our WCW journey as this week is all about Starrcade '91: Battlebowl- The Lethal Lottery. A whole lot of words, just to describe shit show. There's a lot to love about WCW heading into 1992, I'm just not sure the company knows that yet. @thejimdb.bsky.social Links in the replies

AEW is wild because what do you mean I get to watch Shibata wrestle in 2025?

I'll go on record of saying this is THE best episode we've ever done! @thejimdb.bsky.social and myself giggle through the insanity that was Dusty's booking in the Spring of 1991. One Man Gang and Sullivan! Bobby Eaton! Flair wants out! PN News... youtu.be/_mYr5Tq4Y3k

It feels like Marty Supreme had a plot twist in the trailer. 😂 it takes 37 seconds before ping pong shows up. I had to rewatch.

There are MANY reasons I love AEW. Here are a few: - during the pandemic when OTHER companies cut talent, TK brought in indie wrestlers so they could get a payday - AEW doesn’t look to embarrass hometown talent, they elevate them (see Lee Moriarity last week) - it’s not run by MAGATs #AEW

I want to take a second to recognize that Lee Moriarty & Hangman Page are not only phenomenal wrestlers, but good PEOPLE too. Advocating for human rights, fighting against fascism, curious about the world & open to learning about the people in it, and with a deep respect for equality. #AEWDynamite

Watching William Friedkin’s “Sorcerer” and those bridge scenes are INTENSE! The Wages of Fear, also incredible, but I like the upfront character motivations in Sorcerer.

AEW Dynamite is 2 hours of wrestling excellence. And there’s an additional 8-15 minutes of crimes, mostly felonies. #AEWDynamite
