I'm fully on board with the idea that these celebrations are not about drinking beer and I think it's stupid to find them even if it was. But the massively easy "plausible deniability" makes it all feel weird. "I was pretending to drink milk cause I love milk."

Heroes is another one. In modern times, Season 1 of Heroes would have been split into 3 different seasons of 8 episodes each and then would have ended and been considered one of the greatest of all time. But because it was before streaming we got...whatever came after S1.

I got a targeted ad recently from Adobe which advertised the ability of their "AI" to follow the prompt "replace all 60 with 70 in this slide deck." And I was like, MFer, I've been using "find and replace" for decades ar this point. Why is a standard feature "AI" now?

This is a key factor and applies to all types of AI. The people making it and forcing it on specifically went out of their way to do all this without any transparency or oversight and that is why nobody trusts a word they said.
