🎲✂️ s/o to those who entered this year's @cardboardedison.com competition. I'm helping judge the first round and just wanted to remind folks that entering is a win in itself. I remeber how much work it was last year. Excited to see all of the awesome games!!

Here’s one video shared with us of the state-ordered execution. The man was beaten in the head with a gun, shot once, then shot five more times while on the ground. State-ordered executions continue.

New Sky to Bluesky starter tips: 1) As you settle in ask yourself: "does Bluesky suck, or am I just going through stages of Twitter grief & withdrawal?" 2) Twitter Famous™ is non-essential here so feel free to leave it off yr Bsky bio. 3) Resist the urge to self-describe as a "Twitter refugee."

This has been one of the toughest weeks in a long time. Minneapolis is under siege again, like we were 5 years ago. Just this last summer, we had a political assassination. It’s so much to deal with, so hard to know what to do that’s actually helpful.

As a game creator it’s part of my mission to make games that connect people in community with one another, creating memories and cementing relationships. In truth choosing joy, community, and play *is* a radical idea in this day and age. Taking account of that power and using it is revolutionary.

I love when publishers share things like this. It not only gives me considerations for the games I'm creating/pitching, it provides a new perspective about why a game is doing well in the market.

Poker with a shared 3x3 grid. You're also using your point/betting tokens to take some actions. I was calling it Ampersand (for reasons) but I also like Spaces High.

Thanks for checking in. Yeah, I'm good. Just putting myself out there on a few different fronts (including pitching) and it's scary to know there's feedback coming my way that may be good or may hurt. I feel like I'm climbing higher, which makes the idea of falling even scarier.
