Remember, remember... What if the Gunpowder Plot had succeeded? You can find my take on this in "Gunpowder Treason", in the @theinklingspress.bsky.social antho, "Tales from Alternate Earths III." Oh, and the story won the 2021 Sidewise Award for Alternate History... :) www.amazon.com/dp/B09BCDW12Q

My story "Death by Water" is available to read online in @lightspeedmagazine.com today. It was a story that was originally inspired by the thought "what if you just gave up when the world ended?". It morphed into something else along the way. Something about losing your way to find it, maybe.

Death by Water - Lightspeed Magazine

After the world ended, Marie boarded the last functional vessel at the port and set out from Vancouver, heading across the strait toward the cloud-shrouded spine of Vancouver Island and the open ocean...

I have a lot of trouble telling when something is AI-generated so this is really useful. Maybe it can help other authors too!

Apologies for the low amount of sky writing of late, Herc the Orc is whipping our staff working on the 2 twin genre breaking detective anthologies cooking atm. He is being specially mean to our cover designer @wingedlion.bsky.social That's what happens when you don't let the Orc win at Heroclix.

Hello world! Oir orcish inter, herc, is still learning to use yet another social network. But meanwhile he has claimed this spot of land through bloody conquest (and an invitation, he is not a savage). We are a small #indie press specialized in publishing #SFF & H anthologies.
