On September 20, an ICE agent shot Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez in Austin, TX. The bullet still remains lodged in Garcés Pérez's back, and he has yet to receive the necessary medical care and medications for his bullet wound. #immigration #ICE #WilberRafaelGarcesPerez #AustinTX

The policy most likely to help many states gain the workers they need is also the one many of their elected officials are most likely to resist: more immigration. A new study estimates that a 1% increase in a state’s population from increased immigration would raise private-sector GDP by 1.5 %

Immigration operations in the DMV area led to 1300 arrests in two weeks, nearly 100 daily. While some had criminal records, 70% did not, raising concerns about focusing on non-criminals and the impact on communities. The strategy appears to sow fear, with potential shifts to other regions.
