Tomorrow’s patreon update will complete the first half of “classic” Rean, although that’s only about a quarter of the expanded version. It’ll probably post in the evening (EST)

3 out of 6 books down, if I was translating this version

Today’s Saturday Game is 1993’s Mōryō Senki MADARA 2. Mōryō Senki MADARA used Konami’s VRC6 sound chip. This is not that game. This is MADARA 2. #randomgamesaturday

Mōryō Senki MADARA 2 (Konami, 1993)

MADARA 2 is an RPG, and that’s about all I can tell you. It’s the kind of game you’re likely to get when you buy a big lot of loose super famicom games. The soundtracks for both of the Konami MADARA games are apparently very good

It’s Saturday, you know the drill. Naxat Stadium for the PC Engine. Dorabocchan (internationally known as Spike McFang) is all over the game’s packaging, yet is not a playable character. A baseball game where the batters die when they get thrown out #randomgamesaturday

Naxat Stadium (Naxat Soft, 1990). All of the characters on the front of the case are from Naxat’s game Makai Prince Dorabocchan. Aside from the fact that it depicts the sport of baseball, the artwork has almost nothing to do with the actual game

The manual is filled with more pictures of Dorabocchan, from Naxat’s game Dorabocchan. I wasn’t even sure he was in the game at all, but apparently he just makes infrequent appearances in the crowd
