Not sure what you mean by that? I did hear Scott Bessent say that "the polling" is always wrong and Trump is always right. I have to admit I am choosing my own bubble by being on Bluesky which seems to lean left. The other place had become uninhabitable if you wanted intelligent conversations.

It seems to be an apt example of this entire administration's lack of planning or use of common sense. Think about it for just 5 minutes. Imagine yourself coming down those steps, which already steep and narrow, but now you can't see the steps because you got that baby on your chest.

It's always a question of whether it's "true belief" or greed. I once took a class that pointed out you can change a person's opinion, but you'll never change their beliefs. If a person "believes" that an arrogant, stupid person like Trump should be given unlimited power, they will not change.

Yeah, some people are just too lazy to do the math. And with the state of our healthcare systems, lots of people would be unable to get treatment in time, since it's a time sensitive thing. And on top of that, lots of Americans suffer from poor physical and mental health to start with...

Lying or Ignorant? That's the Question of The Day every goddammed day and it's really getting old. The U.S. buys millions of tons of aluminum from Canada. Our own factories can only produce about 675,000 tons of aluminum. How can we build weapons & whatever else if we don't buy it from someone?

I just read that the U.S. imports millions of tons of aluminum from Canada. The aluminum production in "the homeland" is only about 675,000 tons. Aluminum is needed to rebuild those AWACs that Hegseth and Iran\Russia destroyed, amongst a million other things. CA also sells US rare earth minerals.
