Pas mal…but if we really want to address climate change (and regular ol’ air pollution), we’ll need to eliminate the parking itself.

Congressional resignations are now reminiscent of how the USA added states during the early 19th century (one free state, one slave slave added concurrently).

Drug money is pervasive in Colombian society and politics. A thorough investigation will surely turn up indirect connections between drug money and ANY Colombian politician. The idea of Colombian President Petro as some sort of drug kingpin, however, is ludicrous.

Trump’s incompetence is a more serious problem than his wannabe authoritarianism. The USA is now “a rogue nation—with a demented leader, depleting resources, faltering standing to our rivals, fewer allies and alliances—facing a growing array of threats that we are ever less well-equipped to handle.”

The Greek immigrant peaked as the half-owner of the American Restaurant in Hammond, IN. The other, a tenth(?)-generation American, left the South as a young man and wore a hardhat for decades as a supervising engineer at Inland Steel; His postwar crews still hold the all-time production records.
