thehandlebargamer.bsky.social @thehandlebargamer.bsky.social · 20/04/2026My NES with a 1.4v NES rgb kit died. So. F it. Study break. In the mids of finals….. I just can’t let it go. So. Took a donor. My equipment. Desoldered the NES PPU. Waiting for my new NES RGB V5 kit… the old 1.4 kit is to be retired. 060

thehandlebargamer.bsky.social @thehandlebargamer.bsky.social · 19/02/202624tb drives I snagged last year are over double in cost today. No stores within 150km of me had any 5090s last week. Ram I snagged last year on sale (64gb DDR5 6400) for $250 is now $1600. Feels intentional so we need to subscribe to cloud computing. No power in our hands. 010
thehandlebargamer.bsky.social @thehandlebargamer.bsky.social · 16/02/2026My strength isn’t quite what it was. I tend to gain back decent quickly. I am older now tho. 110

thehandlebargamer.bsky.social @thehandlebargamer.bsky.social · 16/02/2026I looked at prices of 20 and 24tb drives that I snagged last year. Nearly double. DOUBLE. For mechanical drives!!!!! 030
