Cheap ways to enjoy life pt1: Don’t listen to any of your music for a month (I know, I know). Then go for a long walk while listening to a random mix of your favourite tracks. Not only is it a thrillingly passionate way to get around, but it reminds you of just how brilliant your taste is. 🥰

I only met Sam Neil a couple of times, but I loved him. He came to a play that Ian Darling and I did in Sydney, and later as he talked of the show, I realised he was weeping, he put his arm around my shoulder and thanked me……What the literal? Now he is gone and I say “ No Sam Neil, thank you 🙏🏼 “

John Cleese is being called racist for being anti Islam. He is a grumpy old man but he is also an atheist who believes all religion should be criticised. He is anti religion and Islam is a religion not a race. He also HATES Trump and was in Monty Python so he can’t be all bad.

I love Sean Penn’s acting, but his performance as Lockjaw in One Battle After Another did not deserve the Oscar. It was one of his worst. . It wasn’t even the best supporting actor role in that film (Benicio Del Torro was). It should have gone to Stellan Skarsgard. His performance was beautiful.

Does anyone else, like me, when they see a character in a TV show do or say something excruciatingly embarrassing, actually yell out in horror? Today I found myself shouting “No!” about 5 times during a sit-com. (Rooster starring Steve Carell.) If I don’t yell and squirm, the show is no good.
