Was going to watch Legends with Steve Coogan. Opening scene: ‘Liverpool 1990’ - a kid leaves his house, goes to a party where N-Trance ‘Set You Free’ is playing (released 1993, only became a hit in ‘95) This kind of thing drives me nuts, so lazy. Anyway, won’t be watching any more of that.

Great article about the new Super Furries reissue and potted history of Welsh language underground music. I winced at the description of ‘Hiraeth’ by non-Welsh speakers, having, ahem, co-written a track with that title! But a fantastic read. The Ffa Coffi Pawb doc linked also well worth a watch.

Picked this up on vinyl for a steal this week, however upon listening it is, annoyingly, the US/European version with different running order and new mixes on 2 tracks. Begs the question who on earth heard the majestic Party Fears Two and thought it needed remixing for the US market? Frustrating.
