A larp tradition I like more than I should is that the point of a weapon should never touch the ground. This is largely a safety issue: you don't want grit or broken glass on the end of something that might hit somebody's face. But I prefer to think of it as a "treat the weapon like a person" thing

The first pass on a sword holder with a horseshoe crab on the outside. It is always a little weird doing a pattern from scratch and watching it become a real thing. Kettu has a huge workshop day planned for Friday. Hopefully there will be something fun to report after! #leatherworking #LARP

Still learning the little details of silkscreening. There definitely is a minimum line width. Sadly I have never lived in a place where cicadas are really prominent! I would love to go see some someday. I'm sure I would regret that decision just a few minutes in, but you know, life! #furry

We're up early today for a long one at the workshop but stopped for supplies. I love walking through the trees. I used to work at a greenhouse so it's a nice feeling. We're hoping to plant a birch tree this spring. They didn't have any

This collar she's wearing, we called the Test Collar: It's a bit narrower than what we sell and is held together with fewer rivets. Functional as is but extra rivets let us add a strap holder loop and some extra durability! It's been seeing good use for several months and still looks great #furry

Part 1 of a personal piece for Meadow. Some hardware still needs to be installed but the shape of it is there. Should finish tomorrow, then part 2 It's a choker necklace with a big heart dangling off it. I had a clever idea (imo) for how to attach it without ruining the heart. Seems to be working!
