It's crazy how big this expansion is. The Villains Land looks about as big as Fantasy Land. Tomorrowland might be bigger, but only because the speedway takes up so much real estate

From the concept art there won't be a walking bridge over the access road that cuts through construction here. It will probably be routed around the back of the building. Coaster load is on the bottom floor, so I hope Disney doesn't have guests go up and then down again to cross this road

Got the pork and trout at Bramblewood Bites. Good for my allergies. Both were really good. 5/5 for the pork. It was cooked to a good tenderness and the sauce was improved this year. The trout was 4/5. Lots of good fall flavors, but the meat was a bit fishy

At Epcot for a bit more food and to ride a few rides. Spaceship Earth has a lot to love, but boy does it need TLC. Various lighting effects not working, and light bleeding in from the outside. Also went on Living with the Land. I miss the big breadfruit tree, but they have another growing

EPCOT Food and Wine 2026 trip report from yesterday. It was great! More options for our gluten allergy than usual. There were some first day growing pains, but nothing too crazy. The weather was hot at the beginning, but rain rolled through and cooled off going into the evening. Food reviews 👇

I know I'm a bit fixated on this, but given that there was no waterproofing or sealing sub layer in the ground is shocking. I think someone just put LED strips under plastic. Incompetence at the level of the DC reflecting pool. I hope they never use the subcontractor responsible again

From the Villains announcement they mention major players offering: Treats, Treasures, and Wishes Come True. My guess is: Evil Queen: Treats (quick service with novelty food), Cruella: Treasures (merchandise shop), Dr Facilier, Wishes (Walkthrough experience like choosing a lightsaber or wand)

Unfortunately, I think this is going to be on the level of Better Zoogether. A weak replacement for Muppet Vision 3D. At least it will be something for kids when the door coaster will for sure have a height requirement as a barrier

Holy shit the experiences panel announcements are like a firehose this morning. Mostly good. DLP are finally getting a Tomorrowland revamp, which is very exciting. Everything for WDW is hype. Tropical Americas is continuing to prove that it will be at the level of detail and immersion DAK deserves

I like that the ridiculous piston mountain is less prominent. National Parks vibes are strong. I think this is going to work well as a mini land. Torn on the flat ride being open air. I bet the views and vibes could be nice, but it will close in the frequent Florida rain and bake in the summer

Hopped to Animal Kingdom. Great progress on Tropical Americas! They have framing for the arch and the carousel. You can also see the square framing of the Casita. The sightlines will be immaculate. Also got to ride Everest. The waterfalls were on. Bonus shot of solar trash cans

Didn't get a chance to post earlier. Breakfast at Steakhouse 71 this morning was so delicious! I got the new New York Strip steak and eggs. Cooked to perfection 5/5. I had to be extra and get a side of Mickey waffles with the seasonal key lime sauce. OH. MY. DELICIOUSNESS. 5/5 no notes
