Goodlands - I don't like comparing games to Animal Crossing but if you like animal crossing this is perfect. I will definitely buy this one (solo dev btw). Demo seems huge with achievements already

Just 100%ed the demo for this game & I'm so very pleased!! 💜 I love being able to be a spino paleontologist helping out all the incredibly cute & charming dinofolk! The driving isn't too difficult & the fossil cleaning system scratches my brain so good, I'm a huge fan of it! :3c

I want to share some pics of @thegeolojosh.bsky.social 's game Goodlands because I had so much fun tonight. The dialogue is amazing and I crashed my truck so much but GODS I need this game right now !!

A low-poly video game. There is a polaroid in the center of the screen that shows a bad selfie of a bipedal spinosaurus with a lambeosaurus behind them.

A low-poly video game. There is a bipedal spinosaurus speaking to a younger spinosaurus who is exclaiming 'omg' over a dozen times to them.

I played some demos recently and one that stood out was @thegeolojosh.bsky.social 's Goodlands. Its characters are SO FUNNY and the music is charming! I loved the gameplay loop and the pixelated graphical style, especially how objects looked from afar. It looks and feels like A Short Hike! (1/2)
