The first time I fell in love with a sea shanty. Return of the Obra Dinn video game helped stoke that love. #XPNCountdown

There are going to be SO MANY Black Keys songs between now and #1. #XPNCountdown

Also I absolutely love it and will listen to it forever, moodiness aside.

Radiohead’s “How to Disappear Completely” is one of the saddest songs ever, shadowed only by “Street Spirit” but god did they fuel my mid-twenties misery. #XPNCountdown

Oh we’re radio editing the hell out of “In Da Club” 🍾 #XPNCountdown

Ahhh there it is. My lowest-ranked top-10. Cold War Kids occupied such a distinct part of my mid-20s existence and especially Hang Me Up to Dry. #XPNCountdown

So many of these bands played at Bonnaroo 2007: Rodrigo y Gabriela, Cold War Kids, Tool, Spoon. I feel lucky to have been there (and was almost immediately too old for it). #XPNCountdown

Scissor Sisters deserves to be so much higher. What a uniquely fun band. TAKE YOUR MAMA! #XPNCountdown

Ahhh - the first of my top ten to make an appearance! My love for Cold War Kids is unending and Robbers and Cowards will always hold a huge place in my heart. #XPNCountdown

I remember like 10 years ago, Hozier's "Take Me to Church" made it into the 885 Greatest Songs of All Time countdown and people LOST THEIR MINDS screaming "recency bias." With the benefit of hindsight, it's obvious he had some serious staying power. #XPNCountdown

Transatlanticism was a breakup soundtrack for me and every time I hear something from it, I have a very vivid appreciation of how much I've grown in the 20 years since it was released. #XPNCountdown

Shit yes, Low Cut Connie absolutely rock, and I am so excited to hear them this early in the morning on the #XPNCountdown

Definitely thought the WXPN listening audience would have packed all the War on Drugs songs into the top 100 of the #XPNCountdown. A little surprised to hear them this far down!
