The only good part of the gta6 release for me is the realization that ball and gun gamers should be preoccupied for a little while, and that I don’t have to worry about THOSE kinds of gamers plaguing any of the games I like.

If you care about “playing games as a hobby for fun” then you should care about this issue. Companies won’t hesitate to remove your digital games, you don’t have to “have gaming as your whole personality” to care about this issue. The only reason to not care is if you don’t play games at all.

First off, plenty of games go gold way before the actual release date. Halloween the game recently did, and clearly the game still hasn’t released yet. Second, Rockstar has had THIRTEEN years to develop this game, a game that’s very likely just more of the same reused mechanics from RDR & GTAV.
