Rion's tendency to carry the burdens alone even if it exhausts him is a fantastic piece of characterization because it's a flaw (where other examples in media will make it a positive thing) but it's also consistent with his character and understandable why he acts this.

Stakes just got very high for the group. On one hand, going to Area Zero is perilous, and bringing in more Paradox Pokémon could prove dangerous for the region (as seen in S/V), but on the other hand, they don't want to attract the ire of the Future Group, especially with children around.
