I love animal's eyes. Full of trust, full of unconditional love. The windows to the soul. If I get the eyes right at the start of a portrait, I'm happy. I'm recovering from surgery, Willow continues to be the bestest, patient dog! #needlefelting #fiberart #animalsarefamily #petportrait #cats #dogs

Black cats are often overlooked at rescue centres, I'm not sure why? I find them stunning! This needle felted wool portrait was made in memory of beautiful Luna #minipanther #blackcats #animalfamilies #fibreart #woolart #hoopart #woolpainting #handmadeart #maker #needlefelting #petportrait #wool

Made entirely by needle-felting wool, Molly is a 13 year old Collie who had to be sneakily photographed without her owners finding out! 📸 #bordercollies #collie #paintingwithwool #fibreart #woolpainting #needlefelting #wool #petportrait #felting #cornwallartist #animalfamilies #dogs #blueskyartist

It's #worldcancerday and an appropriate day to have scans which show a positive response to the last few months of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and targeted therapy, one more chemo cycle to go! It bodes well for the surgery coming up next. Love and thoughts to all those affected by cancer.

I'll try putting a video here of me needle felting beautiful poodle Pippin. I'm not very good at filming myself working but it hopefully shows a bit of my process! #poodle #paintingwithwool #fibreart #woolpainting #needlefelting #felting #workinprogress #art #dogs #animalfamilies #fiberarts #crafts

Mini panther! Needle-felted cat made entirely from wool. I love doing backgrounds too, it's a chance to use brighter colours and challenge myself 🌿 #needlefelting #paintingwithwool #animalfamilies #animalsarefamily #petportrait #woolpainting #fibreart #minipanther #blackcat #felting #art #cats #felt

Bill and Ted with their needle-felted version! I love black cats, their coats are far from boring. Brown, blue, purple hues and the shine on these two is incredible #needlefelting #fiberartist #petportrait #catportrait #woolpainting #animalfamilies #paintingwithwool #catart #wool #art #cats #felting

Lovely Mildred is needle-felted out of wool. Her portrait took nearly 20 hours to make by stabbing tiny bits of wool into felt with a barbed needle. It's great therapy! #tuxedocat #paintingwithwool #needlefelting #woolpainting #cats #wool #petportrait #animalfamilies #felting #fiberarts #art
