If so, then to prisoners, the government acts as a monopsony for their labor. The government is the only entity the prisoners can sell their labor to, and therefore, the government can pay them pennies. The government then resells prisoners' labor at a discounted rate relative to market

Once I argued with my coworkers about whether AI could write a story better than a human. I wrote a short story then asked AI to create a version based on the premise & WC. The result: inconsistent, oddly inversely racially stereotyped, Netflix formula drivel. My coworkers didn't read either version
