Woke up with so much anxiety over my existence. Crying, undeserving, self-loathing, and general financial stress. But I flew our cheapo kite and i feel happy and chill. It is a terrible kite. But it was freeing to play with the wind and aerodynamics for a bit.

Here's a photo I took of the USS Comfort hospital ship sent to NYC at the height of the pandemic as it cruised up the Hudson past my apartment. I could hear the ambulance sirens in both Jersey City and Manhattan across the water. I banged pans. I sheltered with just my dog in a 1 bed apartment.

Startime photo drop. Ive been working on some crochet with old yarn now that I have a plan for it. Ive cobbled together a pattern for a diamond net crochet vest with a hood. Its the first time ive gone to the trouble to count, measure, plan, and record a crochet project's pattern.
