For the next couple of weeks I will be pretty quiet, here. My father passed away on Sunday, after a short battle with stomach cancer.

Criticism...... Think JSL did well, holding up play, and think we'd be better with Sarr than Kamada, as much as Kamada has been superb. As long as Sarr's head is in the game, then I can see us being very dangerous with him and Pino together. Defence also has to be settled. Can't keep changing it.

I would take a point at Elland Road. Would have rather the three, but it's good to see us FINALLY looking like we understand the tactics at last, and working better as a unit.

How on earth was that goal onside? VAR is NOT fit for purpose!

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Now, here is my little bit of criticism. Disasi was reckless. That was a stonewall sending off, and he deserved to go. What I was confused about, though, was bringing on Tomiyasu in the centre of that three. He's too small, and Lerma should have come in. We also need to learn to clear out lines....

And kudos to Ipswich. They spent wisely in the summer window, and as such of the three teams that came up, I would say Ipswich will stay up. Hull started strongly, but I do think they, and Coventry, will be struggling by Christmas.

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

What I saw there was a team fighting, even at the end and despite going down to 10, and even if we conceded late on. It's going to take time to adjust, and tbh the way we played second half, I think we still have enough to finish mid table. Again, though, defence needs to be worked on, as said.

3 games and we are in trouble? Come on. Lol 🤣

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

3-2 Loss, when I honestly thought we might get something at the end of the game. Awful defending. Not panicking yet whatsoever, as the signs are certainly there, but defensively, there's a lot of work.

170

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Tbh, I want to see Chilly and Mingueza play either side, if that's the standard of delivery JSL is going to get game in, game out. Both deliveries were pinpoint.

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

That third goal, by Kamada, was a thing of beauty. The composure he showed. Absolutely sublime.

160

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

That was a convincing win, tbh. Palace 3 Middlesbrough 0 (Strand Larsen x 2, Kamada)

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

So we, our ladies team, apparently used an illegal sub during our win yesterday, Vs Everton. I don't see how it would have made any effect on the result, tbh. I'm hoping it's just a fine, and not a points deduction.

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

YES LADIES!! CRYSTAL PALACE 1 (Lloyd-Smith) EVERTON 0 Win in our first game back in the WSL.

150

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

That wasn't pretty. It wasn't good defensively l. Somehow, though, we won, and through 3 goals from our left wing backs. Two for Mitchell, one for Chilly. 3-2 Palace at Craven Cottage

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

GOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL CHILLY SCORES ON HIS SECOND DEBUT!!! 3-2 PALACE OH MY WORD

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLL TYRICK MITCHELL AGAIN 2-2

020

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

We lose this one, we really have issues. I will be very concerned about us. I will start questioning Sage's appointment.

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Giving them too much time on the ball

000

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLL TYRICK MITCHELL!!!! 1-1

011

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

It sounds end to end, and our defence is just so sloppy

020

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Are we really giving players offside for a toenail?

010

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Our defending is so bloody poor. We need a defensive coach to sort this lot out.

010

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

All Fulham...... This is atrocious. That chalked off goal hasn't helped us either. Worried, right now, listening to this.

010

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Offside, apparently Goal disallowed

000

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

This isn't good already. Good grief, Palace. If we can't beat a team like Fulham, we are going to struggle big time.

010

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I personally think, that's a strong team, in my opinion.

110

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Devenny, two goals on his debut for Stoke City. Really think we should have kept hold of Justin.

240

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

For me, nothing less than a win at Craven Cottage is essential.

030

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Greed, that's all it is. Pure greed. The statement smacked of a former player who doesn't live in the real world.

140

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Only one thing I am truly confused about, from yesterday, is selling Justin Devenny. Just why?

220

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Osorio seems to like to bang them in from 25 yards. Some of his goals are unreal.

340

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

It's been a good window, in my opinion. Not a great one, but a good one, in the end. 7/10.

030

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Timber IS IN!! WELCOME QUINTEN TIMBER ❤️💙

040

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Chilly is back!! Great to have Ben Chilwell back.

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

The only thing I have learnt from this window is just how bloody greedy agents are.

The disrespect parish gets from some fans is insane. Fourteenth consecutive year in the prem, fa cup, community shield, conference league, cat 1 academy, new stand means nothing to some. ‘Yeah, but we should be breaking uefa rules so I can bash one out over our spending.’ 🙄

Why do I still feel like we will just end up with the one loan?

100

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Esse going back to Millwall on season long loan

020

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Quinten Timber from Marseille also close to signing, and Palace pushing forward with that one, from Marseille.

031

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

That's better, Dario Osorio set to sign on a season long loan, with obligation to buy for €26m+€4m in add on's

The Eagle's Perch @theeaglesperch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I'm done. Player who can't decide if he wants London or Sunderland. Just let him go, Palace. Not long to go, and we need players in. No faffing around, FFS.

The fact we have gone quiet, as a club, on SSN, tells me we are working away to get deals in. Moreso, Fofana. I truly hope I am right.
